How to fix screen tearing in Train Simulator
If you experience Screen Tearing while playing Train Simulator, here is how you fix it.
Note: This only works on systems with Nvidia GPU’s.
Step 1: Open Nvidia Control Panel.
Open your start menu and search for “Nvidia Control Panel” and open it.
Step 2: Look for Train Simulator
Go to “Manage 3D settings” and then “Program Settings”.
Click on “Add” and select “RailWorks.exe” or “RailWorks64.exe”.
Step 3: Enable V-Sync
Note: Even if you use G-Sync (like i do) you still need to enable V-Sync to eliminate screen tearing.
Scroll down to “Vertical sync” and select “Fast”, if that’s not available, select “on”.
Click on “Apply” in the bottom right corner.
Step 4: Test it out!
You should now no longer experience screen tearing in train simulator
